High school students enrolled in the Texas ProStart program compete in either the culinary or restaurant management category at this annual competition each spring.

Culinary teams begin competition with Product Check-in. Product will stay at the competition site in a secured, climate-controlled area. Management teams check in display boards and other materials.
Day 2 | All Day
Culinary competition begins. Management teams begin verbal presentations.
All of the teams that competed in the two regionals and the state finals of the 2016 Texas ProStart Invitational did outstanding work. Judges across the board were extremely impressed with the level of knowledge, and passion for our industry the students demonstrated. The first place teams in each category represented Texas at the Gaylord Texan in Grapevine, TX.
